Hi, I’m Chantelle and I burned out so thoroughly I could’ve powered the national grid.
I spent years working in healthcare as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, holding other people together while slowly coming undone myself. No one warned me that the job description for “caring professional” came with a side of chronic exhaustion, significant moral injury and a Google search history that included things like “can I fake my own disappearance and start a goat sanctuary?”
The Burnout Budget was born from that breaking point - and from the slow, unsexy rebuild that followed.
Not the “quit everything and become a digital nomad” kind of recovery (I wish).
The “how do I make it through this Tuesday without crying in a Tesco car park” kind.
Here, I share:
Low energy systems for brains that can’t handle another productivity hack
Burnout education for people who don’t need more resilience - they need rest
Tools for budgeting your energy, habits, and emotional bandwidth (because sometimes, that’s what’s actually bankrupt)
This space isn’t about fixing you.
It’s about supporting you - especially when you’ve got nothing left in the tank but sarcasm and a snack.
If you’ve ever said, “I can’t keep doing this,” but had to keep doing it anyway - you are very much in the right place.
Take what you need.
Leave the hustle at the door.
This space is for you.
Disclaimer:
I’m a former Paediatric Occupational Therapist, and everything I share is based on personal experience and research - not professional clinical advice. If you're struggling with burnout or mental health concerns, please reach out to a qualified health professional for the support you deserve.
